Stress and strain imaging systems for a wide range of applications.
Clever, nimble designs allow you to focus on the engineering task at hand.

With the GFP (Grey Field Polariscope), Photoelastic Stress Analysis (PSA) is now fully automatic. After you paint on the coating, just aim the polariscope and “shoot.” A quantitative image of strain or stress is displayed digitally on the system’s computer. The GFP system interprets the data and outputs an image showing the in-plane shear and the direction of the first principal strain.
